This is Repopulated Data - where disclosive data has been altered so that is does not give the exact value, but an approximate value. The 'Confidence' column gives you a measure of how well this matches to the origional value

Notes about the methodology (including 'confidence') used for repopulation 137 kB.

Compare Wards to SOAs (note: these are the 1998 boundary wards and middle layer SOAs)

From October 2004, SOAs (middle layer) replace wards as the standard lower-level geography for Survey data.
